As the charming host of television's The Soup, Joel McHale is able to inflate his own ego by demeaning others. Though it should be noted that he only targets those who truly deserve it-and, in some cases, their children.

Joel, like everyone, was born in Rome but spent the formative years of his life in the suburbs of Seattle. After "graduating" from the University of Washington with a "master's" degree in Fine Arts, he moved to Los Angeles and was quickly able to find success as a golf caddy. In time, he was forced to give up his dream and accept a much higher-paid position in the field of show business.

Aside from The Soup, you may have seen Joel sleepwalking his way through such TV staples as C.S.I.: Miami, Will & Grace, and Pushing Daisies, as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Countdown with Keith Olbermann and, on radio, The Adam Carolla Show. Additionally, very attentive viewers /stalkers may have noticed him in the film Spider-Man 2
